Thanksgiving Center Piece Ideas

Looking for a few last minute center piece ideas for the Thanksgiving dinner table? There are many simple things that you can do to help make your table look fancy without costing much at all.

~ Gourds and mini-pumpkins are a great way to decorate. You can easily place them in a decorative bowl; on a platter; in a clear vase; - anything cute that you have in your kitchen! I purchased a small bag of white mini-pumpkins for my table and placed them in a vintage bowl from my husband's grandmother. They go perfectly with the creamy and orange colors in the bowl! ~ Candles are another great way to add a little something to the dinner table. Place some pillar candles of different heights on a platter, a mirror, or whatever you have. Place in the center of the table and then lay some mini-pumpkins, gourds, dried leaves, acorns or a mixture of all of these things (the list goes on!!) around the base of the candles. When dinner approaches, light the candles and voila!

~ If you prefer flowers, just head to your local florist and pick from a variety of fall floral bouquets that are already pre-made. If you're feeling adventurous take a look around and make your own bouquet. Then when you get home, hollow out a few small pie pumpkins and divide the flowers up between them. Place on the table with some pillars and candles and you're finished!

Feel free to comment and post any of your ideas, I'd love to hear them!
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
