Weekend Sunshine

This morning it actually feels like Spring could be on the way. We were pummelled this past week with snow. Last Sunday I *think* our whole province was pretty much shut down. At least our city was. Our snow was pretty much gone and Sunday morning we woke up to a great deal of the white stuff. Below is a side by side of how much snow was on our deck when we went to bed Saturday night & then how much snow we woke up to. I kid you not.

I will say that our snow fall was less than what you see because some of what ended up on our deck was from the wind. There were lots of snow drifts. It was pretty much a blizzard. Then in the middle of the week we got hit twice again with snow. Probably 15cm each time.

But after some rain last night {although not enough to rid us of all our snow} and waking up to the sun today it feels like Spring is finally on the horizon. It's mild out & I even have the windows open a crack.

I'm ready for the sunshine. I thought I'd share a few sunshine-y things to get your weekend started:

This is a Waterlogue I "made" this week. All the colours of summer in a bowl. Perfect.

Nester shared a little mantel update & I love everything about it. See the whole mantel here

{find it}

Seeing all of the colour, especially this green, in the March HGTV magazine makes me happy.

Lastly, don't forget about the promo that Jon Billing Photography has going on right now. It ends this weekend {February 23}. By using the promo/coupon code "art4ten" you can get $10 digital downloads. There are lots of photos to choose from so you're bound to find something you like. They make for some great art around your home! Find all the details here OR over on his website.

Happy Weekending!
